Welcome to Lisa Wagner Art
I am an artist and instructor who is based out of Wellesley Island, NY in the 1000 Islands region. I am formerly from Rochester, NY and had a studio at the Anderson Arts Building in NOTA. I love to create a wide range of art in many mediums. I specialize in watercolors, collage, acrylic and intuitive painting. I also teach art classes and virtual art classes in all of her disciplines and holds workshops for a more intense delve into the medium and one’s own creative voice.
When creating a piece, my goal is to listen to my intuition and paint from my heart. Each moment presents challenges to stay true to my inner voice. Art allows us to make sense of difficult times, find compassion and see truths. Being of service to my viewer is a privilege that I am so grateful for.

If you do not live in the Alexandria Bay or Clayton, NY area, classes can be done via Zoom call. You will be able to see what she is doing and can help you with your work almost as easily as if you’re in-person with her! She has had a lot of success with this method of teaching and is willing to help you throughout the week via text message. Her wish is to help you achieve your painting goals and feel good about the process as you develop your confidence and art practice.
