“The Main Drag” is a watercolor depiction of the main street in 1000 Islands Park (TIP) on Wellesley Island in NY. Seen in this piece is the Wellesley Hotel and the Post Office for the park. The park is a former Methodist camp and has since been made into a quaint town during the summer months. It bustles with kids on their bikes and residents on their golf carts or walking the beautiful streets. Porches on the homes are main meeting places for the residents and many homes have been owned for several generations.
